The Tempo X960 and the Tempo DX900 are the “lower” models in Acer’s Tempo series. The black and silver Tempo X960 has a 2.8 inch VGA touchscreen and no physical keypad. The five-way navigation button allow easy manoeuvring around the phone. Acer has also loaded the 960 with Windows Mobile and Windows Mobile Office applications.
The Tempo X960 comes with GPS functionality, though map availability and loading the required software is a different story in India. The Acer press release in the X960 Tempo does not mention whether the phone will come preloaded with maps or not. The Acer mobile phone also has a VGA 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with flash. There is a front-side camera for video calls as well.
